Film Training Manitoba Workforce Development Survey April 2023

Film Training Manitoba (FTM) is developing programming for the rest of 2023 and beyond. We want to hear from Manitoba-based film and television professionals, companies, and members of our community about what kind of workforce training they’d like to attend or think our industry needs.

As a member of the Province of Manitoba Sector Council program, FTM provides skills development to support the growth of the film and television industry. Please feel free to share this with anyone you think would be interested!

FTM has delivered and partnered on many distance training courses while continuing to provide our six online union-required courses, as well as three new courses “Intro to Background Performing”, “Introduction to Post-Production”, and “Leadership, Management and Supervision in the Film Industry”. We also provide online career coaching, outreach and on-the-job mentorships. Your feedback through evaluations, surveys and industry consultations is valued so please feel free to participate.

Please complete this survey on April 28 at 4:30 PM. We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

FTM is a non-for-profit charity and member of the Province of Manitoba’s sector council program (through the Department of Economic Development and Jobs). FTM conducts workforce development and training to build a highly skilled and adaptable film industry to support the activities of Manitoba production companies. FTM collaborates with members of the film and television industry to identify the training needs within the community.
