On Friday, February 9, 2024, the first ever participants of the EmpowHER program celebrated their graduation.
EmpowHER is a first-of-its-kind multi-sector collaborative project between Film Training Manitoba (FTM), Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME), and the Manitoba Construction Sector Council (MCSC), designed to prepare women for employment in the construction, film, or manufacturing industries in Manitoba.
The goal of this project is to work with women to develop the requisite skills for successful entry into underrepresented, entry-level occupations in one of the three sectors.
