During this 90 minute panel, veteran Canadian Producer Juliette Hagopian and writer/director Shawn Linden will share their experiences creating and delivering HUNTER HUNTER.

Moderated by Film Training Manitoba’s Adam Smoluk, the panelists will explore the creative process and also take questions from the participants.

About the instructors

Juliette Hagopian is the Principal Executive for Julijette inc. In over 20 years as a film producer she has shown her desire for excellence and has proven herself as a producer of note internationally. Juliette was nominated for the Canadian Media Producer Award at the Toronto International Film Festival. Juliette has produced films such as the award winning My Awkward Sexual Adventure (2012), The Divide (2011) and the successful series “The Capture of the Green River Killer” (2008). Most recently, Juliette produced Nellie Bly (2018) starring Christina Ricci and Judith Light. Accidence (2018) directed by Guy Maddin, Evan Johnson, and Galen Johnson, a selection into the Forum at the 2018 Berlinale, is her first production with the acclaimed Winnipeg directors.

Shawn Linden is a Canadian writer, director and producer. Born and raised in Winnipeg, he spent four years in the Film Studies and Philosophy programs at the University of Manitoba, and seven years working in the Art Departments of Winnipeg film and television companies. He produced the no-budget film Nobody (2007), a film noir thriller, which was screened at more than fifty film festivals and won over a dozen awards. Since then, he has written over 30 produced screenplays for both film and TV. Hunter Hunter, which stars Devon Sawa and Nick Stahl is Shawn’s third feature film.
