Long serving Film Training Manitoba (FTM) board member Graham Thompson has completed his maximum nine years of service on FTM’s board of directors, and has stepped down on June 30th, 2020.
Graham is a former Dean of Red River College’s Business and Applied Arts and he served as FTM’s Vice Chair and Chair of the Finance Committee.
“Graham’s experience helped FTM to grow as an organization and his service is a major asset to everyone on the FTM team. FTM has requested that Graham continue to serve on our Finance Committee and we look forward to him continuing to be an important member of FTM,” said FTM’s chairperson Andrew Yankiwski.
Film Training Manitoba’s goal is to develop a highly skilled and adaptable workforce to support the activities of Manitoba production companies. FTM collaborates with members of the film and television industry to identify the training needs within the community. With this information we can offer practical, skill-based training that is targeted where labour gaps occur.
