As our production sector is starting up, and with the release of the Manitoba Media Production Industry COVID-19 Safety and Health Guide, FTM and On Screen Manitoba (OSM) are pleased to provide this 2-hour Zoom training session with veteran film industry professional Lesley Oswald.
Manitoba media production professionals should take this session to develop a greater understanding of their role and responsibilities with COVID-19 Cleaning and Sanitization.
When it comes to safety and health, participants will learn how they can contribute to developing a safety culture in the workplace during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. All participants that successfully complete this course will receive a certificate of attendance.
Topics covered during this course will include:
- What are infectious viruses?
- COVID-19 and more
- Proper hygiene & handwashing methods
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and/or sanitizing procedures by area
- Applying COVID-19 safety and health practices to workplace policies and procedures.
All Manitoba media productions professionals are encouraged to take this introductory course to prepare for working on set, on location and in the production office during the COVID-19 pandemic. This training has been developed in consultation with professional health and safety experts and aligns with the Manitoba Media Production Industry COVID-19 Safety and Health Guide.
