Career Focus Crew Internship Program

As part of FTM’s Work Experience Program, the Career Focus Internship provides on-the-job training to new crewmembers. The purpose of this program is to match graduates from a post-secondary institution with production companies and/or film-related businesses such as equipment houses or production facilities.
Applicants must be:
• Youth, up to the age of 30 (inclusive) at the time of intake/selection
• Post-secondary graduates. This includes graduates of degree or diploma programs from universities, colleges, post-secondary schools of technology, post-secondary institutes and CEGEPS (post-secondary education institutions exclusive to the Province of Quebec). These may be either publicly or privately funded institutions
• Currently not attending school
• Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons on whom refugee protection has been conferred
• Legally entitled to work according to Manitoban legislation and regulations
• Available for shift work and overtime (i.e. days, evenings, nights and weekends)
• Able to meet the physical requirements of their desired department
• In possession of a valid Manitoba Driver's License (access to a vehicle is recommended)
• Not be in receipt of Employment Insurance benefits (EI) or Employment and Income Assistance.

Successful candidates will be selected based on their application, previous experience and an in-person interview.
The Career Focus Crew Internship Program is a training opportunity. No guarantees are made regarding future employment in the film industry.
