Film Training Manitoba has over 400 books, scripts, and videos relating to the film industry in Manitoba and around the world.
This library is the only one of its kind in Manitoba and can provide you with the information you need to pursue your training goals.
How do I take books out?
Only people who are known to FTM can borrow books from the library. The following is a list of people who qualify;
- Participants of an FTM course or workshop
- Participants of the Work Experience Program, or the Aboriginal CrewDdevelopment program
- Volunteers
- Instructors
Books are available for a maximum loan of three weeks. Videos and DVDs are available for a maximum loan of one week.
If books are not returned at the end of the loan period, the borrower is barred from registering for courses, participating in the Work Experience Program, the Aboriginal crew development program, or applying to the Crew Course and Travel Fund.
If books are lost or damaged, the borrower will be billed for the replacement value of the books. If the borrower does not pay, he or she will be barred from registering for courses, participating in the Work Experience Program, the Aboriginal crew development program, or applying to the Crew Course and Travel Fund.
