Red River College – Princess Street Campus, 160 Princess St.  |  Room P320

This two part intensive workshop will cater to any filmmaker looking to expand their knowledge in directing. Directing is a daunting task with no fixed rules and can become overwhelming. This workshop will cover directing aspects that will help individuals hone their skills as a director by covering topics that may otherwise go unnoticed. Some topics to be covered are casting, locations, storyboards, rehearsals, the psychology of composition, eye-lines and the axis, on set protocol and much more. Film clips will be used to help further explain some of the processes associated with directing.

Who Should Take this Course

Filmmakers (directors, writers, producers) wanting a better understanding of the director’s process.
