WINNIPEG, MANITOBA: Incumbent Film Training Manitoba (FTM) Executive Director Neila Benson will be leaving the organization for a new opportunity as of Friday, February 1st, 2019, following 17 years of service.
“Neila was at the helm of FTM for as long as several of us have worked in film, and her years of commitment to workforce development within the film & television sector is sterling.” said Steven Foster, FTM Co-Chair. Terence Fuller, FTM Co-Chair added “On behalf of the Board of Directors and myself, we would like to thank Neila for all her hard work over the years both with Film Training Manitoba and the Film Community at large. We wish her nothing but the best going forward.”
The Board of Directors will begin their search for Neila’s replacement in the coming weeks and will be appointing interim leadership during this transitional period.
Film Training Manitoba will host an event on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 100-62 Albert Street to provide an opportunity for colleagues, stakeholders and partners to show their appreciation for Neila’s efforts and accomplishments over the past 17 years at Film Training Manitoba.
